The Events Director shall promote Events for all of the Affiliate Chapter’s in house and community sponsored programs. The Director of Events shall establish Event Plans for the Affiliate Chapter with
the help of the Events Committee; create a ‘think thank’ to build revenue, motivate Affiliate Chapter Sponsors, and evaluate opportunities beneficial to the Affiliate Chapter and increase membership. The Events Committee shall work to create unique events that represent the NAHREP-LA chapter’s objectives and style. Events shall focus a plan to boost membership morale and to enhance customer relations. The Director of Events and committee shall provide the perfect venue that produces a running success for your chapter and become the leading experts at creating memorable events and developing unique themes.

The mission of the Events Committee is to help create extraordinary events that we are known for, assist the Director of Events to work according to the chapter desired requirements and special needs. Additionally, every event planed shall be special and take individual consideration to make sure that what is provided is beneficial the membership and within the budget established.

The Goal of the Event Committee shall:

1.       Render assistant to manage every aspect of the chapter event.

2.       Produce incredible productions that result from a collective concept and design.

3.       Provide support service on the day of the event, as we will provide on-site management. 

4.       Assist in referral and contract negotiation support during the vendor and venue selection  

       process.

5.       Provide consultative sessions to the Board in which to explore event design options that will 

        address the chapter budgetary requirements and bring the vision to life.
